Filipinos are mostly bilingual, with the huge percentage of the population speaking at least two or more languages. This God-blessed linguistic capability has been the state of things in this country for as long as one can remember, and it has no doubt enriched and shape Filipino culture and heritage. The clamour for Scriptures in diglot edition is a natural consequence of this local linguistic reality. The diglot edition is a Bible with parallel translations printed side by side.
