In the book of James, it is said, that if we lack wisdom we should ask. Musical talent is something that does not come naturally. It can be learned. It can be studied. It can be improved, enhanced, and inevitably mastered. Thru the consistency and passion, musical talent is a gift from God gives generously to anyone—anyone who asks. To consider oneself a master of a subject or skill, one needs 10,000 hours of practice; be it any arts, medicine, engineering, pastoring, or even motherhood. The same rule applies. One should devote an hour a day to learn. Whether those moments are spend in watching music videos, observing another guitarist play. memorizing a chord pattern, plucking, strumming; eventually improvements will always be achieved. Learn to play it by ear. Train your hearing, set a string out of tune and tune it again. Practice solemnly and stray away from crowds. Never show off if there are guitarist around—watch them and imitate chords that appeal to you. Groom callouses on your fingers until cycle that can only elevate to teaching. And teaching will always lead to sharing.
